The Moors include Subsaharan Africa too, text from the period even talks about black Moors and white Moors.

Sarasens is usually a term used for the African Moors. Mali and Senegal are part of the Moors lands and people.

But he is right. Since there historically were 0 black people in medieval central Europe, having 1 in your game makes the game impossible to take seriously as an "authentic medieval setting".
