Gonna wait post-release to see if they are bad, then maybe buy it.
He tip toed probably because they made it an OPTION. Do I agree? Not really it goes against his character in KCD 1 but is the OPTION a deal breaker for me no, not at all some people just want to see that kind of thing so let them I guess. Now again if it was forced to watch or take that choice in dialog then I would be skipping hands down but there is no proof to those rumors.
Sounds like it is.
For exemple: the game does not contain any woke propaganda or more gay focus than the first KCD.
Keep im mind that the main antagonist that escaped in KCD1 is gay so a mention is inevitable and natural.
what
Also the way he worded it, tells me that there are consequences for being gay, like there would be at that time.
"The game is exactly what I wanted it to be. No one has tried to influence me as an artist in any way, and anyone who knows me knows I wouldn't let them anyway. Every character in the game has a very clear reason to be where they are, you'll understand when you play the game. Our goal was, and still is, to show life in medieval Bohemia as it easily could have happened and to tell an interesting story. At the same time, it is a ROLE PLAYING GAME, so it is purely up to the player what decisions they make and for all the decisions they make, they are responsible for the consequences that correspond to the morals and social norms of the time. I don't want to spoil the plot, the important events and the roles of some of the characters for anyone, so you'll have to see for yourself by playing the game and then I strongly believe you'll agree with me."
From what I remember the issue was there would be no black traders (or whatever) in the random section of countryside we were going to be playing in KCD1. If KCD2 includes a major city the idea we might see ONE black male trader (again or whatever) is not as crazy. They did exist but just were not common enough to be in every back water area.
