Steam discussion forums need to be shut down

Not gonna happen, because that would cause outrage and push gamers away to EGS.

I honestly have no problem with discussion, although I do wish some users were less aggressive and would argue in a more mellow and objective manner.

Computers that learn from people have, so far, ended up not being objective. I don't think it's possible for people to objective except unto a person's own perception of the universe if a computer that has no bias gets biased after learning from people.

There is lot of store that don't had forum, so no, forum can be very useful and helpful when people need help with game, question about game, ask whatever game they willing to buy or not, so many go on, it's more benefits/good than downside/bad, but yes, downside/bad is toxic, but still worth it to had forum, it's helped me lot in many way. It's had pro and cons.

Steam had little more uniquely than many other website store, there is ton of store website don't had forum and I want to ask of other customer what they think when they had product, I want read about it form them rather than company itself. Don't get me wrong, I do want read staff of company posting as well, as long as reason that they don't abused power or something like that but company don't want tell truth of real downside of product that they selling.

Forums don't need to be shut down, they just need to be moderated better. The anti-woke crowd and any discourse promoting views of bigotry, homophobia, racism, misogyny, etc. should be swiftly and severely dealt with. Of course, since that treasonous orange conman has ushered in the era of post-truth politics, that's not gonna happen for the foreseeable future.

Customer do had a right to know what in and what is not in the game before they buy, it's very hard for company, if company said game had it, then half of crowd won't buy game, if company said game don't had it, then other half of crowd said company is hater and want lawsuit vs company, so what company can do? Company try best to stay neutral but once customer find out product, it's could all crowed love it, or all don't like product or half love it and other half don't like product.

Kingdom come old game, everyone like it, I guess it's because little tiny woke hidden and optional minimum while main quest are not forced people to do woke thing so whole crowd don't mind because hidden/optional minimum, not force on main player to do something they don't like.

It's very insignificant, gave you choice in the game that you support or not support hidden in detail, I guess.

all this does is prove why they do need to be shut down, you see it as a battlefield with sides. Instead of a place of actual discussion. BOTH sides of this garbage are to blame.
