You might go for Skyrim or wait for TES VI - those games have a completely open character concept.
i got a fully modded skyrim, btw the dlc for theresa was great just a bit short but i would prefer a female character overall.
edit: giving the matter a bit more thought - the devs would need to trick around with something like a camouflage system and an additional gameloop to never get caught / exposed as a women or something like that.
Anyway, that's what all the other awesome games are for =)
They had both moors and female warriors in medieval times this is no fantasy setting at all, i mean you can even see female warriors in the coverart for this.
I really hope this woke **** does not affect KCD2
Keep in mind that moors or the turks were considered invaders and oppressors. Don't expect that a european dev depicts them as benevolent protagonists of such games. It could work in a Dark Souls like game where everyone wants to kill you lol but not in an rpg where you need to interact with ppl a lot.
Also warrior women...according to historical studies some noblewomen were taught how to fight as when their husbands went to war on the side of their king someone needed to organize the defense of the estate in case of attacks of marauders ecc but still they were not common.
In the kingdom of Hungary in that time there was an amazon called Rozgonyi Cecília who actually saved Sigismund of Luxemburg (yep the antagonist of the game) in the battle of Galambóc but she was also a curiosity of her time.
So again in a tipical zero to hero game which tries to be accurate being a warrior woman would be a stretch especially if you expect that every npc treats you like an everyday sight and say "whattdayawant" like to the male character.
I cant honestly even think what chracter is worse then Henry. I could throw Lara Croft, but man even she is cool. Even Skyrims prisoner is cooler.
