报告翻译问题
The explanation to why you're suddenly weak is that you're no longer a big fish in a small pond. The devs have said game 1 is like you're a non league football team and now you're stepping up to the premier league, or something along those lines. I wouldn't be expecting any points whatsoever to carry over.
Maybe those questions about the previous game boost skills slightly like Henry's mum's questions in the first game but I assume it'll just be narrative thing like in the Witcher. I could see them asking if you learned to read in the first game, that would be a bit immersion breaking to do again.
Remember the first game takes place over the course of about a month so it wouldn't really make sense for Henry to start game 2 as a God, even if you levelled everything to 20. They are obviously relying on the player to suspend their disbelief for the sake of the narrative and the fact that it's a new game and not an expansion.
