It's the right thing to do. I won't be pre-ordering, but it's now back to being a day 1 purchase for me.

This is, by the way, already on top of the fact that Warhorse is owned by Embracer. Embracer is a trash company run by morally bankrupt, stupid, greedy, scum that have done irreparable harm to the games industry, and I do not want to support them in any way. I will be very sad if Warhorse closes down due to poor sales of this game, because it will likely be no fault of their own, but if it puts the final nail in Embracer's coffin, at least there will be a silver lining.

Denuvo is not going to be in KCD 2 at all. Tobi has officially confirmed it in the yesterday's stream that it has been just totally fake news and false information that came out of nowhere.

To be honest I thought his answer was much more complicated than that, including words such as "it was discussed" and "misalignment". Whatever the case, it doesn't take 4 weeks to comment on issues like these unless a decision has not been made or something needs to be changed. They certainly were aware of the backlash!
