I think VR support would be awesome in this game.
I just can't get enough of skyrim VR (with mods duh).
Just picture walking, running and fighting, smithing, etc in mediaval times like your really there.

If you can find a way to map the VR controls to the game's UI, go right ahead. That's more work than I'd expect the developers to do in CryEngine.

(If CryEngine is like its older branch, it's a beast to do every little thing, and VR might not be something considered in its core design. UE does much better on both counts, but it has its own way of doing things. Because innovation requires people to be able to do things their own way, UE won't stop people from simply doing things wrong. Moving from another engine to UE is highly problematic for this reason... unless it's moving from/to Unity, a much easier transition.)

i played the original game in VR all the time on Oculus Rift. I put the screen on the Rift and it was pretty much VR from there. Except I had to use the keyboard and mouse blind or a xbox controller for most controls. It was very immersive in that mode.

VR is better and better. Expectations for the end of the decade are high and the market is blooming. It's less and less a niche.

VR needs to die. Waste of time and resources for a retina damaging game system that few people want.

High end, headache inducing niche crap.

I want good games, not good peripherals.

Videogames need to die. Waste of time and resources for a violent entertainment media that few people want.

High end, violence-inducing crap.

I want good movies, not interactive media.

I really hope this is a joke, seeing as you have an average of 106 hours a week in games according to Steam. Imagine if you worked half that many hours how much money you'd make.
