So a remake but bigger?
Watching the gameplay videos and screenshots, it seems like a remake with similar scenes from the previous game, more like what the developers wanted to make the first game, but couldn't with limited technology and finances.

Exactly,
they said "it's not a revolution but an evolution"

It's a sequel.

hmm but how gameplay works then, it scans the last save for our Henry stats or we magically forget we trained henry to be a monster knight and start from zero?Amnesia plot? Instead of arrow a club in the head as start cut scene?

Thank you for this clarification, I didn't understand myself what the status of this second volume was.
A remake but "better" or maybe a sequel ?
I was expecting another story, set in the same era. So, I don't really know what to think about it.

It is a direct sequel to the first game.

In the first game ending you are directed to Trotsky* castle to deliver a letter to a lord and sees how he thinks about Sigismundus.

The sequel starts exactly when you ride to Trotsky castle and get ambushed.

It's a continuation of the first game's story, but with enhancements and QOL changes now that they're better prepared to tell the story they wanted to tell in the first place.
