According to the first game, pre order stuff was to purchase later on. Nothing is confirmed for this one.

I can't imagine that they making themselfes work by adding an bonus quest only for the
pre-release and remove it then, so I think you can simply buy it after that time.

would love to know aswell, but i guess the only benefit from pre ordering is the legendary armor and weapon set

I'm not sure but I think the Treasure Maps for the Warhorse Armor in KCD1 was like a free gift for people who contributed in the crowdfunding. Considering it's now available as a DLC I'd like to think they'll do the same with this quest in the upcoming game. Might be wrong about that tho.
