Now KCD is one of my favourites.
So I preordered KCD2.
From what information is out there, Warhorse clearly started with the depth of the first game, then expanded on it while keeping historical accuracy. The big thing is that unlike most "RPGs" on the market, you get a true feeling of playing Henry, not some generic character in the game world thrown into a situation, but to play the character. You can gain skills and adjust playing styles, but it's still Henry in the end, and the second game won't deviate from what made the first game so amazing.
You are free to have your doubts, but I pre-ordered the Gold edition, because everything points to the game being amazing. If you want to doubt anything, try the next Dragon Age game that will be out in a couple of months. There are so many things about it that really annoy people, we are doubling down on Kingdom Come 2 being THE GAME to play in 2025.
True enough, but the point is that you preorder because you trust the developers that their game won't be that way.
