Just Bought the Gold Edition. Looking Forward to the 11th Feb 2025
Just bought the gold edition for £65.99 I expected it to be much more expensive and yet it is an awesome deal for that price. With the expsanion pass I get three DLC's in the future and Yes I know I do not know what they are. But hey a game I want is a game I get :104:

Same here. Just want a long RPG world to explore without playing the main story for a very long time

I think pre-ordering is dumb

It´s not dumb when you know it will be a banger. Creative director is Dan Vávra, who made Mafia1, KCD1 both the best games in their genre.

The point is, you cannot know whether it will be a banger or not.

Game looks like KCD but enhanced. I liked KCD, so more of that but with enhancemenets sounds solid to me. The original had issues when it came out(they ran out of money) and they fixed those.
Now KCD is one of my favourites.
So I preordered KCD2.

If you wanna get it with a cheaper price then you buy the key, if you wanna reward Warhorse you take it in Steam

I see your point.

From what information is out there, Warhorse clearly started with the depth of the first game, then expanded on it while keeping historical accuracy. The big thing is that unlike most "RPGs" on the market, you get a true feeling of playing Henry, not some generic character in the game world thrown into a situation, but to play the character. You can gain skills and adjust playing styles, but it's still Henry in the end, and the second game won't deviate from what made the first game so amazing.

You are free to have your doubts, but I pre-ordered the Gold edition, because everything points to the game being amazing. If you want to doubt anything, try the next Dragon Age game that will be out in a couple of months. There are so many things about it that really annoy people, we are doubling down on Kingdom Come 2 being THE GAME to play in 2025.

Is it really that hard to understand that pre-ordering is a way to show developers trust and appreciation?

You mean blind mindless appreciation? Games these days come out broken on day 1 and also that future DLC is pure unknown.

True enough, but the point is that you preorder because you trust the developers that their game won't be that way.
