I’d like the option to switch but this has probably already been decided long ago. Does the announcement video give any clues? I need to see it again.
I just love how Skyrim and ESO give you the ability to switch freely between the two perspectives... wish more games did this.
This is a very subjective question, of course. I for one always feel like a TV screen with forearms attached to its sides in first-person view—hardly immersive imo.
Fair enough. To each their own—make it happen, devs?
This below, but also the fact that now a days you can make sure you can see feet and hands properly (yes not always) but being attached behind your character would make it less realistic in its approach and fights as well.
Its not that I dislike 3rd person, it works well for some genres and situations.. but not in this.
I have—for a bit, anyway—and that's true, but still... look, this is just my opinion, of course, but it just never felt right for me.
