In single player mode, there is no difficulty option for the AI yet.

here is a place for ideas for new play styles, I'll start with my two concepts. (chess with movable portals) (more cubic modes such as anti chess but on cubic)

Deeply interested in this new concept, and I wholeheartedly would like to see this get the light it deserves. However, I might have some questions about bugs/features/idk as I will uncover this game with my friends Firstly, Is that intended that the cubic mode doesn't have a promotion for the pawns?...

The concept seems fun but its still very pre alpha, - slider chess seems buggy, the ai keeps moving fields onto other fields - turn count start with 0 so if a game takes 15 moves (8 turns) it says it took 7 turns - moving the camera around seems very wonky so i usually play in 2d mode - the way possible moves are highlighted makes me miss the darker tile moves sometimes - in growth chess white seems to be force to move there king out of check on the first turn wich allows black to immedeatly capture white...

This seems nifty, i'm awaiting the release
