I have an issue with needing to enter a door on the first floor to the left of the stairs to continue the story. (I think it's the dining room) Every time I click on the door, Poirot spins in circles and never opens it. If I keep trying to open the door the game freezes. Does anyone have this issue?...

Without playing a whole new again please? I just want to try with different answers for last chapter, not play the entire game again. Thanks for your help.

I have gathered all of the clues regarding Poirot's room, but the game is still locked in on the action called "Inspect the east rooms" and therefore detective always says that he needs to make sure it's his room. I know about the plant and that da Silva is my neighbour, as well as the guestlist in the hall. Is there some sort of set of rules on how Poirot can get into his room?...
