PVE and single player

Are the PVE elements in this game good enough to get me hooked in single player runs or is it more PVP oriented for online play?

Does it lean more towards DayZ where the emphasis is PVP and survival elements are filler or towards Zomboid where the emphasis is PVE?

The demo has been recently updated I'd recommend trying it out to be safe

I haven't even tried the multiplayer part myself yet, honestly. But I'm absolutely having a blast in the single player mode. As soon as you manage to get something to eat, a reliable source of drinkables, and basic equipment to harvest trees with, you're golden!

The only possible reason for PVP multiplayer can exists in this game is that when you join a server or local game you can choose to be a survivor or a vandit. And therefore you can hurt and kill players from the other side if they attack you.

if it helps , i only play solo games , specifically sandbox . i like this one a lot . 600 plus hours .
