How to skip the night

My eyes hurt during the night and was wondering how to skip it since I saw that beds can't be interacted with and you can't craft anything to skip it. Do I just need to wait the night in my base?

Use the emote wheel, select sleep.
You can sleep starting from 10 pm i think and I forget when you can't sleep anymore.. maybe 5 am.
