Is there a way to repair melee weapons/tools?

I've been using a fire axe as a regular melee weapon, and I also have a sledgehammer that is at 25% health and after putting in roughly 128 hours, its the only one I've found, and I don't want to use it for fear of it breaking. Is there a way to repair these tools?

Duct tape must have melee weapon in your hand for it to work.
