Demo Update!

Hello everyone for this months update we are finally ready to publish a really massive update for the demo. We have been hard at work with a multitude of bug fixes and everyone will get a preview of one the dinosaurs from the next area of the game as well!

Patch Notes:
-Added preview of Coelophysis in main venue
-Fixed detection issues with certain items
-Map displays and med cabinets have been updated
-Radio lines will now que instead of cutting off
-Fix soft lock issue in tutorial
-Performance improvements
-Various AI fixes and overhaul
-MANY other bug fixes

Were currently exploring some audio issues in regards to AI which means there may be a future patch fixing those too.

In the meantime we are still quite hard at work on the next big area of the game, we hope to have more to show everyone in the near future. Stay posted!

Demo feedback

Its still buggy and janky. Saves break the inventory, after loading a save sometimes some loot stacks on top of each other and some becomes unusable. Enemies can hit you while facing another direction, even if you sneak up right from behind, they will damage you with their butt. If the enemy dies near the wall, death animation will make them clip through it. Climbing up into the vent works like a**, climbing on edges is fine but if you need to put yourself in the vent that is somewhat above the floor, good...

Post Kickstarter Update!

Hello everyone! Things have been hectic but our Kickstarter ended in a huge success! We surpassed our goal at the end of September and have had our heads down for a little while now working on the game.

In the past we havent been terribly great with providing updates on the steam side of things, and we want to rectify that going forward.

So whats been going on? For starters were busy working on the second of four major sections of the game. You will have likely already played through the first major section of the game called Arrival in our demo.

We also have been working on some new creatures for the player to encounter:

Athanasia Kickstarter Final Week

Athanasia is entering its final week for its Kickstarter! We are 60% funded and need less than eight thousand dollars to hit our goal of $20,000.

Now more than ever we need one final push to get ourselves across the finish line. We are asking you to reach out to friends, family, communities and content creators to get the word out.

As of right now exciting things are happening behind the scenes as well with the game. We are working on the next mega level (similar in size to our big demo!) and we are really excited to show what we have been working on in the next couple months.

Regardless we hope to end this Kickstarter with good news so lets make it happen. Be part of our dream to make a cool dino imsim!

Can you soft lock yourself in this?

Not sure if I did something wrong, but even during the tutorial stages where it says to craft a fire bomb out of the bandages and bottles, are you only given a finite supply of them from the vending machines? If you don't have one to destroy the desk/crates blocking your path, then you're out of luck. lol...

Demo feedback.

It's great and I loved it. As a Kickstarter backer I now regret not having backed at a higher tier as I have a feeling I'm really going to vibe with this. I did after all just spend four hours playing through the demo and really exploring the facility. I did have a few minor issues, but I think other players have already raised most of these. Best of luck for the continued development, and I look forward to returning to the game whenever it releases in full and finding out just what Dr Nakamara has been...

Demo Feedback

I finished the demo. It was very buggy, but I'm not the bug police, so I didn't note them. I have feedback for improving gameplay. 1) Dogs should not be able to hit PC unless facing PC 2) Combat should be deeper than backpedal away from enemy and shoot or melee 3) Sprint should be much faster than walking 4) Inventory should have an auto-sort button 5) Every door and vent should lead somewhere meaningful 6) I found the map confusing, so I didn't use it 7) Maybe an RPG system would add to gameplay I think...

can't continue the game

i played a demo like a week ago and today i wanted to finish it after update. i choose any save, menu list disappears and nothing happens, although wishlist, twitter and discord icons are clickable. i guess i'm screwed and if that's so, i won't replay it sadly anyway, neat combination of survival horror and immersive sim elements. wishlisted btw, is there any approximate release date and how many people develop this game?...
