Just play the games you want, age be damned! I'm nearly 32 myself and this is still one of my favorite rhythm game series.

I'm 42, I have Future Tone on PS4, I've this on Switch (and will eventually get this on PC). I say, there is no "too old". I'm not really good, but I don't think this has anything to do with my age and I love those games.

miku games are some of the hardest ones for rhythm games.
kids can play the easy modes. but you gotta be good to play these EX tracks, whew

Twitter would say you'd be too old, everyone else doesn't mind how old you are, just play what you want.

Pretty sure most are really old

Yeah most vocaloid fans are pushing their 30s now. Does it matter? I saw a pretty old couple at my first Miku expo, they were definitely at least 50.

Most importantly, just don't listen to what the (woke) kiddos think. Everyone is free to enjoy their favourite games and series how they want.

Video games are for kids. Get off your computer and go do adult things like paying taxes and being depressed.

You're not too old. I was sceptical at first when I began rhythm games around 40, but I was fine and still am, getting close to 50. You do what you do and don't let anyone tell you different.

Edit: In fact you're in your prime, I would suggest also checking out osu!, it'll be fine with just mouse, unless you want to try for world class with a tablet.

I'm also in my 40's, and honestly never liked rhythm games until pirating a copy of Project Diva for the PSP 8 years ago or so. I've been hooked since, buying anything that was released and pirating what didn't, until I had the full collection. I've also branched out to Muse Dash, DJMax, Elite Beat Agents, and BPM (hybrid rhythm/shooter).
