Hypocrites.
Every year you can literally go through each game in the last TEN YEARS and look in the discussions and see the same exact discussions and issues... This is not EA's fault anymore as you have told them you don't care about the same game, over, and over, and over. So what you complain? YOU ARE STILL BUYING IT. There will be another 10 games that are legit the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game with a different name and different "Roster" for 60-70$

You have a problem, not EA. It's mental illness to buy these garbage shutes lol.

What option do people have? Most of the people who complain, myself included, simply want a good, bug-free, football game. Plus, other football games are even buggier than Madden. Trust me, I've tried a few. If people don't buy Madden, it won't do anything. There are enough people out there who love Madden and never complain that give enough money to EA to the point that EA would still be earning enough money from Madden to not be concerned if a ton of people stopped buying it. Plus, if everyone who complained stopped buying it, they would have to deal with not being able to play a game with NFL Teams or a good football game in general. Your point is a good one, that people should stop buying Madden to get a changed Madden, but like I said, those people would have to deal with not having an at least somewhat good football game to play, and EA probably wouldn't care.

I only buy it when its discounted, I haven't paid full price for a copy of Madden in a long time to be honest. Also goes back to, I get the itch to have some of the old features added back in and play madden again.

And buying it, even discounted, is supporting their history of not doing what the fans have been complaining about and asking for. It's simple, stop buying new releases when they ALL have the same complaints, year after year after year after year after year after year after year. Play the old ones.

Plus, if everyone who complained stopped buying it, they would have to deal with not being able to play a game with NFL Teams or a good football game in general. So what's stopping people from playing the versions they ALREADY own? They don't stop being playable after every season. Oh no, the roster isn't updated, it's not worth playing /s If you wanna play a football game, just play the ones you have until a new one that satisfies the complaints is released.

I still play Madden '08 ffs, sure it's a bit dated but it plays fine, there is NO reason to buy the new version over and over when you know it's going to be the same as the prior season just with updated rosters. Quick edit to add newer graphics are nice, but not even remotely close to required...I wanna play a football game, not an NFL simulator, recognizable players is cool and all but, again, not a requirement to have fun with a football game and save some money.

If you think "not buying" Madden will teach EA a lesson, you are being fairly naïve. This is what happened in the past and EA just stopped delivering it on PC. The PC is not their cash cow, the console versions are which is why they get all the new features. Those sales far outweigh any PC sales. EA would have no problem discontinuing the PC version, again.

If you don't want to buy a modern Madden, don't... But don't tell other people how to spend their own money.

No I'll just tell people to not make dumb decisions, it's better.

What my parents failed to teach me is that I cannot fix stupid, but I keep trying on these forums.

Not buying a product that isn't really even geared for the market doesn't teach the makers a lesson. It instead backs up their decision to not invest in that market. The way to get EA to invest into a market, is to show there is profit in the market for them. You want a better PC Madden? Show EA there is profit for them in the PC market.

No thats not how it works buddy. They have always released a inferior product than what consoles get and its not about profit they just know you'll be stupid enough to pay for it. Since EA has the rights to make the game. I can tell you this if ea didnt have the rights we would see far better nfl games than what ea can make or will ever make. It's the same thing with nba the same 2 companies make the same game over and over dont upgrade it nor make it look better. It comes down to them knowing you will pay for the same game and they dont have to make a effort since you'll buy it anyways. I'd say let them pull from the pc market. They should also be forced to allow other companies to make a better product. What it is they are afraid of compensation.

As "inferior" to the consoles as it may or may not be, it's still lightyears better than anything else on the PC.

Having exclusive rights to the NFL trademarks does not mean other companies cannot make (American) football games. The other companies just chose not to invest in competing with EA's Madden. Maximum Football seems promising, but we'll see what the final product looks like when it's released.

That contradicts your previous statement. You just proved that having competition doesn't already breed a better consumer product.

Companies invest where they will get their investment back as well as earn a profit. Not buying something demonstrates to the company there is no market for their product. That's how business works. If you don't understand that, then either you don't understand business or you are still in school and haven't gotten that far yet.

You have your position, other people have their own. You'd rather have nothing than have Madden. Others would rather have Madden (PC) than nothing. Everyone is right. Being right is what makes sense "to you". It's my money, I'll spend it however I want to spend it.

To finish up, let's talk about the title of this thread. While you are not the OP, you are supporting the OP with your posts.

hypocrite
* noun
a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that they do not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.

So you suggest that even though there isn't anything better on the PC for (American) football, people still shouldn't buy it. However, you did the same thing with Undisputed. That is the definition of a hypocrite.

saying "You can't fix stupid" is saying flat out you're teachers and parents failed you.

Oh, burn! lol.. Is that what you were expecting to read? Kids these days....

Your initial premise is flawed. Saying the title hasn't changed is just flat out wrong. While the graphical engine hasn't been moved to next-gen, the actual gameplay is adjusted each year. I could list the changes from last year's version to this one, but you wouldn't care anyway so I'm not going to waste my time (and I've already done so in older posts).

Can EA do more? Absolutely. However, no matter how you decide to look at it, "Madden even going stagnant for years" is still better than anything else available today for the PC. But saying "Madden hasn't changed for 10 years" is one of the biggest hyperboles of Steam forums.

Imagine making a wall of text not discrediting anything I said with examples or proper discussion rather just using the same old kindergarten recess "Nuh uh!"

Heres the differences, they changed the text.....That's it. Still overpriced. Still moronic to purchase, I can say that as much as I'd like as it's what I genuinely believe as fact, and I can sit back with my coffee watching you foam out the mouth reading pure unadulterated facts and smile as it's my god given right.

Tl;dr Keep crying kid you nourish me.

Previous versions of Madden worked and were, despite some flaws, quite fun. When I bought this version, it worked fine. Now updates have broken the game, and it does not even start. What you say is basically off-topic and pointless.
