Can anyone actually explain how they work and how they stack? Are some enemies weak or resistant to some upgrades? At least on the organic planet, near the end there are the green orbs you destroy, and it seems like the "fat" bullet "upgrade" literally does 0 damage to them. Seems like im just gonna stick with the first upgrade and stack that because the other ones make no sense....

Think I'm getting old. Can't even get past level 2. Any general tips?
