Real Talk; I don't get the hate regarding the oldschool version vs the lethal-like

I played the oldschool version via rolling back the patch per the devs advice on a prior discussion post. Aside from the camera filter, the lethal-like version is a MUCH superior version. Additionally, the bones of the oldschool version are still in the new version as the 'maintenance' mission type. I truly wish this game still had an audience! I'd bet that if the devs did some marketing this game could really take off....

Spin bug.. HELP ME PLEASE!

I can't play the game, this happens every time I open it. The character keeps spinning after exiting the menu. Can anyone solve this? I recorded the screen for you to see what it's like, see: https://youtu.be/NVH7fcD-IdY (I sped up the video 2x so you don't waste time)...
