It crashes immediately after starting the game.
When I start this software, it crashes after a black window appears for a few seconds.
Does anyone know a workaround?

I had the same issue, turning off "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game", i.e. disabling fixed it for me. Got the hint from https://www.riotbits.com/fix-capcom-arcade-stadium-crashing-crash-at-launch-not-responding-and-black-screen-fix-7886/

Nope. Didn't do anything, Black screen then crash, only the 2nd stadium.

Same here. Never did anything with overlay turned off.

I installed it, I cant load any games. It does not crash though... it has no saved data, but I cant play to start saving...
Maybe you have to buy each game and this intro software is free...

try different resolutions on your PC first, then adjust resolution in game...
Same problem on Windows 10.

If using a laptop and connected to a Docking Station, disconnect from Docking Station and the game will launch. In this scenario, I am presuming that you have a compatible video card.

Just to add my previous post of having no issues.
So many having the same problem and yet so far that I know Capcom has not interjected and offered a solution.
That I do find troubling if I am honest.
I tested it again and it is working both Capcom 1 and 2 stadiums.
I have noticed many are using various graphic cards and so that doesn't seem to be the issues.

I had none, and in fact I have tried to cause it to perhaps replicate what any may be having but to no avail.
I remember a while ago having an issue with a USB device plugged in that was causing some obscure problem. Tried that but it still worked.

So I am at a loss other than to suggest it must be something quite serious for so many users to be voicing the same problems.

Just for any relevance like already written prior, this game like all of my games are on SSD internal.
My Windows is 11 and my drivers for my 3080 12gb version up to date.
Security settings are updated and there are no other conflicts to be seen.

Certainly an enigma that I genuinely hope you can all get to sort out.

I wanted to come on here to say that this is exactly what was causing my issue. I don't use the display ports on my dock, so I went into Device Manager and disabled those devices. Now it starts fine without having to disconnect from the dock.

I haven't tried going back to previous windows builds, but that could be the case.

Hi! Had the same problem and I thing I figured it out, at least the game started for me. The problem was the <hybrid mode> that laptop uses (both discrete and integrated graphics). I have the same combo - Intel+Nvidia (but a slightly different card). The solution was switching to <discrete graphics mode>. I hope it helps. (too bad capcom didn't bother to mention this problem that occurs only in capcom stadium 2, the first one works just fine)

Try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x64) + (x86). If you already have them uninstall both, and install different ones.

Update from my previous posts regarding the same issue. The problem that I had was because I used an older Docking Station. I recently bought a new Docking Station and all my problems went away!
