Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium - Crashing on Launch

I've been having issues booting up the game, with it resulting in a black screen for a second or two and then crashing. I've noticed other people are having this issue. Although I'm genuinely curious if anyone has gotten this game to work on steam yet, or if everyone is having the same issue on launch?

One of my friends who has it is currently playing it and has gotten a few achievements so I can only assume its working for them.

Same issue. Game won't boot. Black screen and then crashes.

My issue is not being able to get past the Privacy Policy page - I can scroll to the end of it but I'm unable to select any of the 3 options at the end. Kinda upset with Steam certifying this as "great on Deck" for this.

Restart your PCs and try again, that did it for me.

Same. The crash dialogue comes up while the game is launching. I make it as far as the arcade, but games don't load onto arcade screens. Then it just sits there, playing music. hep!

i closed and relaunched Steam. I shutdown and restarted computer. No solution yet.
