"ENGINE ERROR: Could not load library client."
That's pretty much my problem, I'm running on a MAC (I've checked and I do meet the system requirements). I installed Synergy, and every time I try running it, it simply just crashes with an "engine error" message. I've verified both synergy and my half life 2 files and it just doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

We're working on mac support, it's not fully supported yet, however here are a few things to try: run hl2 to the main menu then exit it and start synergy. restart steam and try launching synergy. if none of that works try re-downloading synergy.

I tried all of that but re-downloading synergy, about to do that right now. :)

*Update* So I uninstalled it and reinstalled the game twice, it still didn't work. Please help.

It's installed in the same "place" where all my other steam games are, including half life 2

the path for me is Macintosh HD/Users/*myprofile*/Applications/Synergy

Cheshire, that's just a link to synergy not the actual game, (unless you changed where steam installs things), provide us with the actual folder contaning it.

Ok, so I went to the "browse local files" option on steam and the path is Library/application Support/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Synergy. same as Lemon...

Is this after an install (having it work before) or did this happen 'all of the sudden'.

I downloaded the game, and when I first tried to open it, the engine error showed up, and it's been like that since.
