Can't toggle the console in Synergy
Hi, me and a friend wanted to try some HL2 coop, when i try to start a new server i choose "internet". But when im in the game it can be found under "LAN".

So, i figured i had to change the sv_lan to "0"? Problem is, i cant toggle the console. I have tried enabling the console in advanced keyboard settings but i still cant toggle the console. I have tried to set toggleconsole to another key in the config.cfg but somehow, it gets changed back to what it was before, after i start the game. Any1 know what to do?

Try making config.cfg read only? Or right click Synergy, click Properties, click Launch Options, and put in "-console".

It will always be found under lan as the server is hosted from your network even if it is available publicly too, also don't enable console that way, it's incorrect as that command line parameter won't let you open it when you've closed it, simply go to the key configs and hit advanced and check enable developer console then ok everything then hit the ` key whenever you need console

Ok, so its always shown under LAN for the one who creates the game. Problem is, when i start a internet game my friend cant find and join my game. Any clue?

I have tried to check the enable developer console but nothing happends when i hit the ` key. i have even tried to change the "toggleconsole" key in config.cfg to another key but still, nothing happends. And yes, im sure the enable developer console is checked.

did you click ok and then ok again on the key binds window? also i'm farely certain your not port forwarding correctly if he can't see it.
