Buy HL2, or ask a friend who HAS it, to share it.
You you stupid, The Episodes are a different game than HL2. Sure they have the same folder, but Synergy needs the HL2 files to run, which are not included in the Episodes since the Episodes don't need them. But HL2, its only $9.99. Or get it from one of the Steam Sales for a cheaper price!
