Synergy Mouse lag/stuttering

Have been trying to find out fixes to this problem but to no avail. The game gets stuttering issues from using the mouse. using the keyboard has no issues as moving back and forth and strafing keeps the frames at a solid 60. Have tested this lag issue with all other source games but all of them work perfectly fine.

Switched to 360 controller to play synergy and works perfectly fine with no stuttering issues when looking around and playing the game. Does anyone have any fixes for this problem? I do not mind using the controller but its HALF LIFE ON THE PC no point in using a controller for that.

Guys could you please tell me how to freakin start synergy? Update didnt do anything.
