Any way to get controllers working?

Due to a debilitating injury on my left hand controller is my only option for playing video games as keyboard and mouse causes great pain. Is there any way to make a controller work for this? If you plan on commenting with the unhelpful suggestion to use keyboard and mouse i will respond to you like you're an idiot because if you could read you'd know not to suggest that. Also i tried that Xbox 360 controller mod but that doesnt work

Might have to move it out of the workshop directory and put it in Synergy\synergy\custom
To find it, right click Synergy on Steam, go to Properties, then under the Local Files tab, click Browse Local Content.
You should be in steamapps\common\Synergy Now go up two directories to steamapps then go to workshop\content\17520\ and copy the directory "715005117" and place it in steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy\custom\715005117 and restart Synergy then try the exec commands.
