every time i try to play d1_canals_01 in multiplayer it gives me this error
is there a way to fix this?

You could try manually deleting the map d1_canals_01.bsp in Steam\steamapps\Common\Half-Life 2\hl2\maps\ then doing a verify of HL2. If that still doesn't work, the server might be out of date.

still didnt work and it gives me that error on every server

i fixed it! i went in the synergy maps folder and there were synergy maps and one hl2 map which was d1_canals_01 so i deleted that
