You removed the Light Mage. Why?

Ok,first off: The fire/primary spell in the first game doesn't travel. It stays in place rather than traveling across the screen meaning I couldn't complete the tutorial. The UFO game was absolutely fŭçķĩņğ great. I loved it to bits and didn't really have any problems,except that I landed on the home ship again to upgrade my UFO and my character (the astronaut) was bugged into acting like he was still in the UFO only except he could only go left or right like he was riding an invisible plane.
