Only one companion left.

I've found 11 companions, and somebody pointed out there was a total of 12. Can somebody tell me where is the one I'm missing?

Grimalkin Spirit
Bakman
Lawa
Floating Skull
Ducky
Vampire Bat
Simple Cube
Kaho
Nun
Lineth
Cactus

These are all I've found.

You can find the one you're missing by returning to where you fought Harpy Archdemon Plunia. It's the largest square section of Springleaf Path, if that helps.

Go to the only big region in springleaf path, and You will see a paper character ( Dora ) where you fought with the boss before. Just beat it and you will get the sigil. This paper character only appears very late in the game. I am not sure about the exact timing of appearance

If I recall correctly, it appears immediately after gaining the Lunar Attunement. In the dialogue that follows, Dora will advise you to check in on Koho village before proceeding, and when you return, one of the villagers will have new dialogue mentioning a big-headed monster roaming Springleaf Path.

It's rdein's old art. A similar Momo appears elsewhere (here's a Twitter thread about it). They're cute!

What do the companions do EXACTLY.

They either attack enemies (Brave), drop money (Explorer), or drop MP gems (Healer).

I think all companions of the same type are equally effective with the small exception that floating ones will more easily stay with you compared to ones that run on the ground.

Whenever it's unlocked, it'll appear on your map without having to talk to anyone, btw. I've been obsessively checking any and every corner for hidden goodies (hence how I found that softlock in the bug report thread) and opening my map to look for new unlocks after every dialogue and boss/miniboss.
