It doesn't, I tried. This practice of putting a game on Steam and putting it on GOG eventually, maybe never or not acknowledging people who want it there just kills me inside.

Thanks for checking! I guess I'll just play again the previous games and Minoria while waiting. :)

It's tough for us not to know, but sometimes even the devs don't. From what I've seen it's best for them to be certain before announcing releases on other platforms. And unfortunately that often takes time. I just hope enough people show interest in this thread so a GOG release can be considered.

I too would like to see this game on GOG. but the last game PLAYISM released on GOG was La-Mulana 2 back in 2018.

+1. Bought their prior game on GOG. Not sure if the Steam version is DRM-free (could anyone confirm if it requires the Steam launcher to run?) but I know Playism was previously very supportive of DRM-free with their own site.

I think you're misreading that comment. They said "it doesn't, I tried" for "does it run without steam?" not that it doesn't require steam, that is the opposite.

I saw that rdein said to ask the publisher PLAYISM, so they are the ones who are at least postponing the release on GOG for now.

I asked them on Twitter and didn't get a response, will try to do the same as you

Got a reply from PLAYISM, but it looks like they haven't considered or decided yet. I asked if they're planning to release Momodora: Moonlit Farewell DRM-free on any platform (including Steam), and that's what they replied:

We will announce on our website and official social media (Our X : https://twitter.com/playismEN ) if we have news for you.
