how do i use the rice cooker?

I have absolutely no idea how to use the rice cooker. I was taught how to cook by Hina and she gave me a rice cooker, but I have no idea how to use it. I know I have to buy rice but people don't eat just rice, what goes with the rice, probably a silly question because I should already know the answer to that question, but I honestly don't.

The first two recipes are jut rice (short grain rice) and water. 1 short grain rice plus for Okayu 3 water and for the sticky rice 2 water.
Build the rice cooker, but the ingredients into the wheel (you only need 2 of the 4 spots) and click the "on" Button and wait (1 in-game hour if I remember correctly).

By short grain rice you mean the harvested rice straight from the harvesting or first it has to go through the mill? Or store-bought rice?
Also what do you mean by 2 water? 2 what? 2 buckets? 2 cups? How you measure water if not by bucket, and how you place 2 units of water into a single slot of the rice cooker?

you build the rice cooker, by using the drone and then pressing 2, this will show you your blueprints, select both the rice cooker and the camping stove, if you have the materials. I started going to the mine to get earning some money by selling rock. Then when the rice cooker is made, put x1 rice x1 water x1 water and then wait for a while it seems.

As far as I am aware, the harvested rice has to go through the mill first. You can use store bought rice. For water, you take your bucket to the hose and collect "buckets of water".

I cook the rice, but when the 2 hours are up, it only lets me take the raw ingredients back out again, there is no cooked rice. I don't actually know what I am doing wrong

My experience with the rice cooker is you need to get the rice as soon as it's done or it resets and you have to cook it again. But I also have to pick up the ingredients from the cooker and put them back before restarting. Hopefully it's a bug and will get fixed.
