Reviews
An hour after the game releases and there are already 9 reviews. Two indicating PRE-RELEASE REVIEW and the other 7 not. Some of those other 7 with 100's of hours played which obviously indicates they were playing pre-release versions as well.

Except for one, maybe two, reviews which have very low hours played, and even then that isn't near enough time to know how the game is yet to write a review for it by that time. I'm really surprised all but these two are not identified with the PRE-RELEASE REVIEW tag as well?

Either way, I hope that anyone on the fence about the game doesn't base their decision to buy the game alone on any reviews as it is much too soon to do so based on when the actual non-Early Access version of the game released and the amount of time one would need to play it to get an actual feel for what they are playing here.

this happens with every game that releases on steam, people will review with 0.2 hours. I've never really understood it either but if people have played some sort of EA, I think a review is valid for the most part.

i mean. the game has been ready for a while now. us early access people had access to the entire game, like what was released today. so all reviews are valid. dont worry too much.

hey I'm a little curious how long has "full release" been out for the backers? cause that's one point I don't get on bugs in the reviews if the game has been updated recently. could some points about the bugs be invalid due to the full release and what bugs it fixed?

true I don't mind bugs either all games have them was just curious if the game had a recent update is all compared to the kickstarter build, as people reviewed pretty quick with over 100 hours and a negative review due to bugs ;/

Some people had early access to the game through different backer tiers that allowed them to play earlier but similar versions of the game that went much further than the demo. While the game is still new and reviews can always be updated, it's important to take everything with a grain of salt when looking at reviews. Everyone experiences the game a bit differently, so always use your best judgement when deciding to look some other people's experiences with the game. Reviews can change with time, and that's okay if some want to get their reviews in early. Hope this helps!

I'll tell you one thing that irks me about reviews are that many, if not most, of them posted are done so with Comments are disabled for this review. enacted.

I just think that is chintzy as all (bleep!)

Allow others to respond to what you're posting, especially if there is a possibility of what you are basing your review on may be factually incorrect.

Why so many are afraid of feedback for what they are posting is beyond me. I understand it is what it is but still.

I think reviews are auto set as comments off, you have to check mark the box to open them. I forget all the time. I assume most people forget / don’t know. And truly, sometimes people don’t want to chat about things. Sometimes i make a review that i don’t want others to comment. People can be harsh, especially if you leave a negative review / a review that slightly criticizes a game

Yeah, I get that, I do but just like the developer can delete posts that go beyond civil discussions on their game's Discussion boards, a reviewer should be allowed to do the same for any responses posted in follow-up to their review.

In my mind, comments should be turned on by default. Even if it was, I'm sure most reviewers would still turn comments off all the same.
