SunnySide
The demo.....
I downloaded the demo because I watched the video of the game but then noticed it had mixed reviews and wow the demo was 21GB! That's not even a big problem, the problem is why is the farm so darn far from the bus stop? I spent most of my 1st day running on a empty street. Then it's obviously night time (dark sky) but I am just getting the text for having lunch with the neighbor, I catch the bus supposedly going to get my phone screen fixed but then I get to town and I don't see the Tech Hero place at all, I see an electronic store outlet, a university, etc but no Tech hero. I did like the fact that I can wisk my person back to the sleeping tent and not ride the bus and run a marathon back to that piece of grassy patch.
I tried to cut down what I think was some form of dead crops but it kept telling me that I needed a Machete or a Nata, I had the Nata but it wouldn't chop it down. This game is like a game I backed on KickStarter called The Ranchers (which has rentable scooters) except there was way more in the Alpha version of that game than in this game at EA.

I think there is a lot of wasted day time in this game trying to go back and forth to the city and not sure where that tutorial is because it's just not there, maybe I didn't play long enough to get to the tutorial but I will say this the beginning of this game is the best I've ever played (the MC setup/auction/etc) all the way up until I got to move myself then it went all down hill. Any advice to make the game play better is welcomed and I do hope to one day buy this game.

You ran the wrong way. LOL. I'm not laughing at you here, I'm laughing at how I am envisioning your frustration with your whole experience. What's funny is, many players end up being unable to locate the bus stop later on because they never navigate up that road so they are unaware that's where the bus stop is located when they eventually need to access it and here it's the first place you decided to go.

Maybe it was your character's way of saying, I'm not cut out to be a farmer, get me out of here?!!! 🤣

Tech Hero is in the same town you reside in. Just open up your map and pan around the entire town map before setting out to get a feel for where all the town's shops are located.

🤦🏻‍♀️ You did it all totally wrong from the start. You should really make use of the map before heading out like that lol. Yes, it is frustrating at first because you need to ran around town during the early days, but it'll end once you did the active quest, which is also the tutorial part to get you started.

Like @Anutha said, TechHiro is in SunnySide, not Higashi. If you look up to the sky, you’ll see a white marker too. That’s where you need to go to fix the phone screen.

Also, you'll eventually get machete, axe and all if you proceed the right way. You may not get to do everything in the demo but you’ll get it. Give it another go and do it right this time 😁

The reason for the demo being so large is that it downloads the full game. It kind of had to due to how the map of Sunnyside works, which also helps make the demo progress carry over.

I recommend opening the map and following the opening quests. The map pins are extra helpful since it’ll create a beam of light to help you find your way. I personally stick around my farm area and small parts of Sunnyside and follow quests til I get the message to meet Gabe in the city, from there you unlock something that helps you get around a lot faster that you can summon from anywhere.

Hope this helps!
