Where can I find....

I need lighting around my farm as it gets dark really early, but cant figure out where to buy or how to make the components.... Also I was wondering where to buy kitchen counters for things like my blender or do you have to make them. As far as I can see there are no blueprints for them.

- You can buy blueprints from the carpenter.
- You unlock blueprints by skilling your crafting (by, obviously, crafting stuff).
- At the big tree at the shrine, you can upgrade your skill and unlock new blueprints to be bought at the carpenter.
- If you want to go the easy route, you can gather some stone from the mine and place some large stone path. Delete it, build a new one and repeat. per stone path, you'll get 6 exp, which is a lot. You'll have the skill upgraded to 10 or even more within a few minutes.

Philip sells blueprints for a variety of lights. There are some garden ones. I use the one that requires a light part you can get from Ladybug but I can't get into game atm to give you the exact names - sorry!

Edit: To piggyback on rupsch's suggestion - building wooden fences using sticks is another way to level up building skill quickly.

It does. If you have sparky, you can turn on his light to help until you get the lights. His is super bright. Just need to not out run him lol.

Oops just saw this. I was at work before and got distracted by other things. If you haven't found it yet, when you open inventory there's a little panel for Sparky on the left and one of the buttons is a light. Very handy for the mines too.

That's what confused me at first. There's a mention, I think, of his light, but I expected it to be an app on the phone, since he interfaced with the phone. It's honestly not a great help, anyway, I don't suppose his light upgrades to light a bigger radius?

Not sure about an upgrade as I haven't looked for one. My hunch is no, but I can't say for sure.

I found his light brightens up the area well but he does have to be right next to you. I guess it just depends on what you're trying to do.

There is a light on the drone when building as well, but I didn't find it all that helpful as it seems to dim a lot.
