Broken save or bug, unlimited food from materials.

Not sure if my savefile is broken or of it's a bug. But I recently got my hands on the small cuttingboard, a steel knife, rye bread and a block of cheddar. Finally I was able to create food myself!

I place the cheese on the cutting board to get slices, 36 slices. Block of cheese is still there, another 36 slices. I stopped when I had over 400 slices of cheese from a single block.

Bread, same thing. I can just keep going on getting slices.

I still have the bread and block of cheese to make more slices from. They are infinite...

If I make a cheese sandwich from the slices I made, I can get unlimited amount of those too.

I play with custom difficulty, everything at RPG except battles which are at cozy.

Not sure if I should continue the save because it's a bug or if I should start a new game if it's the save file that broke.

I starting a new game and now because I know this is a bug, I just cook as normal. I do not go for making extra just one at the time. The game is playable and soon it will be better.

About start a new game, it is all about how you feel. However this bug is not fix yet. Developers are working on fixing bugs.

I reinstalled and cleaned up my folders just in case. Now I know, I'll just run my new save with a gentlemen mindset on it, get my slices and delete the base ingredient(s).
