Tea stalks

i'm having an issue we the tea stalks i get green tea stalks when harvested but can use them and the recipes and skill tree calls for tea stalks not green tea stalks. please help i you can.

Real life Yellow Tea, Green Tea and Black Tea come from the same plant. The difference in color and taste comes from the way it is harvested and processed. Among -many- other thing the time of year it is plucked.

My guess is that you’re not the right season.

If you go to the mechanic he sell Simple Drying Rack. With this you can make different products I believe tea leaves as well. Check that.

The problem is I only get green tea stalks and I have grown them for 3 seasons and only had gotten them at harvest. The drying rack does not use them the rack only ask for tea stalks and will not use the green tea ones

There is one more thing you can try. Some Crops have a mechanic where they produce different things depending on the stage you harvest. Like: Cherry Blossoms to Cherrys, Squash-Blossoms to Squash ect. Maybe try to leave the ripe tea stocks on the plant for a few days longer.

Oh yeah, that's how it actually works IRL regular tea is fully mature leaves. Green tea is young leaves, white tea is just the leaf buds, all the same plant.
