Can't Buy sunflower Seeds

I can't progress food crafting because I can't find any where to buy sunflower seeds. Am I not seeing something? I check the seed app everyday and I am in the fall about to get into winter. I also don't see them sold in any of the shops.

Do you have sunflower seeds in your plantdaddy app? I can't confirm right now but it should say what seasons you can buy the seeds you are looking for. Might just mean that sunflower seeds aren't available in the fall but I am unsure.

I check it everyday but I don't see any sun flowers so not sure if I can buy them during the fall season but you could be right. Just wished there was a way to find out and maybe not have to wait an entire season to buy em again but no idea at the moment.

The companion guide will tell you the seasons it's available - sale, growing season, harvest season.

you can only buy them in spring and summer, they will grow till fall but not in winter.

Well seeing as how you were so close to Winter in your game, if they wouldn't have matured in time, it's somewhat of a saving grace you can fall back on here at least.

Only real problem is you have to wait until Spring 1 in order to even purchase them (if they even show up that is, RNG and all.)

May want to keep reloading Spring 1 until they do?

whelp i was gonna just tough it out and enjoy building more during the winter but it seems i can no longer play the game. It just crashes upon loading in, verified files made sure everything was updated and adjusted graphic settings but nothing. :(

How many hours have you played up until this began occurring?

Do you have a dedicated AMD graphics card, by chance?

actually i fixed no worries just had to update some stuff and give the pc a good hard reboot and no problems there thank you

I wish the developers would reconsider this mechanic. Locking ingredients for a crafting progression behind a crop you can only grow in specific seasons is frustrating and bad design in my opinion. At the very least, allow the player to buy the seeds even if they cannot grow them outdoors, they could potentially build the greenhouse for items they need to progress and not be forced to wait until the following spring.

I feel ya. I really wanted to try more food crafting during the winter and I have the green house built so thought that would allow me to grow non season stuff. But who knows maybe they will change it sometime. I still want my cheese empire.
