Trouble with afreind in need quest

Gabe is asking for a roasty beer barrel and I can't find one anywhere is this an item that isn't in game yet?

I’m not sure since some of the shops’ stocks and menu rotates. Maybe it is something that we could make? I would avoid picking the option until I’m confident enough that I could make them or know where to get everything 😂

thank you I'm not sure I have a good amount of the recipes and I don't think I've ever seen it in shops guess I'll keep looking

On the plus side of things, even though the quests say you have until x day, it does remain in your quest log. Though eventually this bug may get fixed. It would be nice if the requests from your friends actually had items you can find and provide in the time frame specified.

Yeah, it is. And I second that

Yeah I believe it picks from random things you can produce, for example Gabe wanted matcha from me and in 15 days, but even if I grew it that day it would take 28 days and you can't buy the raw product anywhere.

Hopefully they will limit requests to easy to gain items in a future patch.

in another topic similar to this someone gave this answer. Chances are you won't be able to get it any time soon, you need to craft it from scratch. Once you meet Kyle you can start making food processing items the first one you can get is the drying rack. You'll want to make a few of those as each single item takes 8 hours in game time to make. As you progress through that and earn levels you can go to the skill tree to unlock the ability to create more food processing items and eventually you'll be able to make your own beer barrels. From there you just need to find the recipe for "Roasty beer barrel" More than likely purchasable from the cafe shop.
