(English is not my first language. I am doing my best here, sorry if I sound wired sometimes.) I can’t have Quails on my farm. Gabe was selling them in the first week or so, but when I was ready and had the fitting coop, they just never showed up again. (I am at the end of Spring in the second yaer) I wouldn’t complain and just raise other animals BUT the rabbits aren’t working either. They don’t eat and don’t produce anything nonmatter what I try. So far so annoying. Then my fertilizer-tool bugged out. It’s always full so I just have infinite fertilizer, if I want it or not. So, the compost pile und all the pigs can just go on the pile of features that aren’t available to me.
I just read in the Wiki that breeding animals is not in the game, so the baby versions of the animals are technically pointless too. I think there were supposed to be cheaper than the adult ones, but I wouldn’t know because every one of Gabe`s animals ist 13,99 for some reason.
Oh, and I can’t sell the sheep and rabbits, that I don’t want anymore. I love farming games and the crop-system is really, really good, but now I wish I wouldn’t have bought it at release and waited like half a year maybe? So it doesn’t feel like half of what it was supposed to be.

I cannot find ANY animals to buy. Gabe sells only farm supplies, no animals.

i cant even place down my feeding trough or water trough for my chickens i just got so i cant feed them does anyone know how?

Use your drone. Go to the coop and place your drone down to enter inside than place the feeders there.

Other animals are available after you level up your skills. Go to the skill tree and there is the skill for Gabe sell new animals.

This is only open in the skill tree. You need to check what you need in order to Gabe sell them.

Be sure you build a quails coop and not the chicken. Also be sure when you order animals to click in the right coop.
You can only buy animals at the moment and with the new update now you can sell them using your phone.
Sometimes animals aren't eating, so make sure you take the feeders out of the coop and place them again. This was something I did and fix the problem.

Another thing that cause animals don't eat it is that if you move their coop to another place, you need to relocate the animals in their shelter again.
For example I move my chicken coop to another place in my farm and my chickens stop eating and drink. They need to relocate again in the coop. After I did that there was not issues.

Chicken use smalls feeders yes. You can now build them in your crafting table.

there's no watering can in the game. you can use the watering hose near the shed to water your plants or adding water to animals water feeder and water trough.

Jewel, try to verify your game files and see if that is fixed

Go to the hose, open your tool wheel and select the bucket. Interact with your hose while holding the bucket and fill with water. Go to the water feeder and interact with it and add the water.
