Isnt it getting dark too soon?
Maybe its in real life in Japan but its a little bit depressing getting dark at 15:00-16:00
Is there any option to postpone the day getting darker? Maybe at 19:00?

i noticed that too, and i think its because i set the length of day to the maximin, but the day and night cycle may be adjustest to the standard day-length....

Yes. Even at Default settings it is getting dark around 3pm. Even for a valley town(I live in one myself) it is extreme.

I think they may have included dynamic seasonal sunrise/sunset because I'm mid-way through summer and notice it's staying light longer in the evenings.

You probably don't live at the same lat/long as the location:

https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/japan/sapporo

even me, 4 degrees south, experiences a fairly similar cycle, just interrupted by DST (nearest large city for comparison):

https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/usa/spokane

i.e it's for realism.

I'm in Oregon so not that much more south than you and grew up in WA. It does not get dark at 3pm in spring, excluding like if there is a storm. I get what they are going for but they did it poorly. You may also have a brighter screen. I didn't notice any brightness settings in game, but maybe I missed it. But it may not seem as bad on some screens that are brighter.

It doesn't, admittedly, and I do think the game is quite dark. But I usually think of early Spring as "just after the winter solstice." in terms of this.

I don't think the game settings changes the sunset time, though I did stretch days out to 30 minutes which you can do anytime you want while the game is running.

From what I heard, where the game is based on in that region the sunset and sunrise times are as accurate as they can be for each season! As the other users mentioned changing the length of the day can help give you more daylight time <3

I understand the intent but it gets super dark long before when sunset would be even in that region. There doesn't seem to be a brightness slider in game so that may be part of the issue. I don't know why that was left out of the settings.
