DLSS Stuck on Performance

Game won't let me change the setting, as it's greyed out with Performance pre-selected. Anything I can do to change it?

It looks like a quick google search shows that DLSS isnt supported on the 1060

Damn, crazy how it's defaulted to perfomance, is unchangable, and the effects of DLSS performance mode are visible to me. Any way to change it via ini or something? The game is practically unplayable.

There's a screenshot, it might be difficult to tell but the performance option is preselected and there is no way to click any other setting.

The DLSS is not supported on your card. There is no fix.

Your card isn't supported by the game. The minimum on the store page is Gtx 1660 Super.

That's why it should be off instead of locked on Performance but the issue is the card is too old for the game.

So glad the update basically made my game unplayable after I played more than 2 hours of it. I want a refund.

The game used to run at a fine 50-60fps with the occasional drops but now it looks worse and even RUNS worse, I get about 20fps max. This is unacceptable, what did they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do?

If any moderator or something can help me I'd appreciate it. I've seen developers respond to other threads so I don't know why they're avoiding mine.

Bumping is against the rules as per the steam guidelines, so refrain form doing this in the future. Also, the developers and moderators have a lot of things to watch, between here, the discord, and the bug reports so sometimes the response time will be slower to issues like this one. As for your issue, if you don't have a DLSS capable graphics card, those settings wouldn't have an affect on your performance. DLSS came for 20 series cards and up, and since yours is a 1060 your card is from before that was implemented. It should be defaulted to off in that case, so since it isn't it would seem that part is a bug. For now, you can try and going into the in game settings and turning of experimental loading to go back to how performance was before the changes. Hopefully that works to at least get back to how things were while the team continues to look at performance improvements across the board. Thank you for your patience!

Is this a joke? You say it won't impact my performance when it's having an obvious performance impact to my game, as I mentioned? I tried the experimental loading and it doesn't help. The game worked better before, can't you just revert the changes? No offense, but you're response isn't very helpful when it's just chastising me for bumping and offer no solutions. Thanks for nothing. Flex your mod powers and punish me for bumping if you want, this issue needs to be addressed.
