First of all: Don't you dare laugh! Fluff is love and I will die on that hill.
Second: I like most of the game and I plan to sink an unhealthy amount of hours into it after a bit more polish, but I will absolutly poke fun of the more silly bits XD
But now that I think of it, maybe we are all wrong...IT IS pretty realistic to not be able to afford a house for young people...so maybe they are on to something! And now Im depressed again...
Well look at it this way. In my first week I made over $1500. If I had that same money in the real world I could have gone over to Home Depot, bought an extremely nice shed, and built it in a day or two. And it would still be better housing than the tent or teahouse.
Honestly what they should have done was given you a place to sleep on Gabe's ranch until you got a place built. You could work on his farm doing chores which would teach you how to raise animals, get a few skill levels etc.
It would tutorial you while still making sense and giving breathing room on housing.
So you can pick up chicks of course.
That's a nice suggestion too and i think the same.
My first time around, I planted both potatoes like the quest said and the raccoons came and stole them while I was in a cutscene. I WATCHED the theft while talking to Kat the next day for the strawberry seeds! And now we have chicks that we need to take care off with no TRUE fencing to even protect them. I have spent so much time chasing off foxes that are congregating on my farm now, it's ridiculous.
But to protect my farm from foxes and raccoons, I need a dog house because you can't adopt the dog with no place for it to stay. And why add insult to insult by making the dog house available when the human house isn't available.
But I have CHICKS!!! smh!!
I see the potential in the game and I am really planning to put alot of hours into it, I enjoy the game so far. Just some quest "choices" have me a bit.........confuggled.
You can avoid these issues easily with the stick fence you can build which only requires the sticks you are already cutting down as you clear land of bamboo and trees to plant crops.
I'll try that. Thank you!!
