Report a translation problem
let me "try" to help you out with some of your questions. I havent really continued playing since the game actually doesnt really kicks for me...and there semi finished translations for german.
So i heard you can use the Teahouse once its rebuild to sleep there temporarly until you also build a chicken coop and you have some sheeps to actually build a bed.
As far as i have seen you can buy raw materials at shops like Sawmill or Smithy. Or you gather them buy yourself. But you cant process them on your own...you have to go to both shops...there is a tab called "jobs" and these guys do the processing for you....I think thats what they call economics in this game. Like i said...you cant like in other games place your own saw or furnace on your property.
You got two places ...the big City and Sunnyside...in Sunnyside at the Sawmill you get furniture blueprints ...you place them and build them. The Bigger city you visit by bus i just been there once for "tutorial" purpose.
And yes...you do everything...really everything by drone....even small things like a rice cooker or a camping cooker you have to place by drone...totally nonsens of you ask me.
And no you cant hire someone who will build stuff for you....its you only.
And since i never got any answer about my question regarding to what my partner actually is useful for when i am in a relationship..i never got any answer. But i doubt there will be any assistance to help you.
And how you actually keep up with everything...i think thats up to you...do you build your house first...or do you handle relationships first...or your farm...
What happens with chickens and foxes...i dont know yet...havent been that far.also havent even built the teahouse yet...the more i red here on the forum or there discord...the less i am intriqued to keep playing.
i dont even see a reason to build a teahouse and a chicken coop first before i actually can start building my own 4 walls.
I hope i could at least answer some of your questions with that...if not just keep asking.
most of all the relationship part what is the use to romance and then you find out a paper weight is more useful.
Personally i can say...its more than unfinished...and maybe wait a bit more than a few days since yesterday was a little patch fixing some stuff but not worth the time. Wait for a sale and then do it like i did...get it from a keyseller. I shot my game for 12 Bucks.
Its the thinking..I mean lets be real. What would you rather buy in first place..a game you might think is actually a Full Game or a game you propably have to wait until its finished..if its ever get finished..(Early Access these days isnt anymore a pay and waiting game. Some Developer wont even finish there titles or get bankrupt).,
thanks for hi jacking my post .
and i wake up thinking my post has been answered and it has not.
seriously start your own post instead of steeling someone elses.
You can buy a sleeping bag to put down in there but you need to buy the plan for it too because the sleeping bag is the ingredient for the plan for the sleeping bag.
Q. i noticed sum houses takes alot of grinding to get materials is there a place we can just buy the materials ?
You can buy most of the ingredients without materials, it just costs more.
Q. Also noticed there is a place in the city you can buy ovens but no beds or other furniture, do i have to build everything else ? or are there places we can buy them from ?
I think you buy pretty much all plans from the carpenter but then you need to buy the ingredients. In the case of the bed you need wool and that only comes from your own sheep.
Q. placing furniture is it only done with a drone or can we do it with our own hands as it seems a waste we need to use a drone to place a piece of furniture down.
It's always the drone so you need plans for the drone and the items or ingredients.
Q. can i just pay someone to build a house for me with everything inside included to save me all the hassle so i can just continue with the story line?
I don't think so. You definitely need to place things inside yourself. The fact you decorate everything yourself including placing the house is one of the things the devs are proud of.
Q. So with the story going on and the grinding to finished your house and other buildings how do you keep up with feeding the animals and trying to have a relationship in 30mins a day.
it just seems like there is not enough time in a day to do everything.
You can get other vehicles, better than the bike. You can also tp home in the menu and many are using hangouts at locations as a way to tp to that location or to somewhere near, like a hangout at the garden to get to the caves.
Q. surly late game you get an assistance to help you ?
last question ? Will my chickens get eaten from the Foxes if i leave them out at night?
I wanted to address the no house thing in particular because it's one of the things I thought I would dislike, but really don't mind. I think focusing on building the teahouse as part of the tutorial was a good idea. I also don't mind sleeping in the tent, it's not like you actually go inside or have the means to decorate anything yet, so I don't see why people are pinched about not having a house right away.
Focusing on building a solar panel and water pump for the farm production was a far more useful way to spend those initial funds and resources, to me, than what will probably feel overwhelming in the amount of materials for the whole house.
I also like the fact that some things are bought while others are crafted, though I'll admit it can be confusing what's what at first. The idea of the game is to slowly build up your wealth and have a nice house with nice furniture and decorations, over time. Not all at once when you first start, that would take half the fun and challenge of the game's appeal and aesthetic away, in my opinion.
As for limited dialogue options and missing marriage/romance ... well, either you're really into that (in which case the game may not appeal to you) or you're not. I happen to not really care one bit about romance/marriage in a farming/building simulator, but I know others are so to each their own but I'm glad the game isn't too heavy on relationships which frees me up to focus on the farming, crafting/cooking, and adventure (caves) mechanics most of the day.
The problem people have with the no house situation is that it makes 0 sense...the game have you make a tea house, a chicken coop and then a barn before even give you acces to the house, and then you need to grind to unlock the RIGHT type of sheep to be able to put a bed on that same house... and honestly not only is that dumb as hell from the game desing point, it also makes no sense on the in-universe side since the game is suposed to be semi-realistic.
Having other things to spend your time like a water pump is good and all, but people who liked the building system and decoration, people that buyed the game becouse that was apealing, will most likely find the above a tiny bitsy annoying.
As for having things being bought and others crafter, its good for a game of course...but there is people who does not like RNG for the sake of RNG and shops having randomized inventory for basic things got annoying at times. And really...there is no reason for the woodwork shop to not sell premade furnite, or for the city to have an extra shop that is a "Not Ikea tm" to sell at least basic furniture, heck even put RNG on it and have it rotate betwen furniture sets Animal Crossing style.
And about the romance, its kinda like a big deal on this particular type of games? Specially if you market your game making it seem like its also a big part of YOUR game, but you know...the whole "Build your own life" thing falls a bit, just a bit flat when my inmersion is ruined by my character saying things that are just awful...
I really like the old trop of "dying town on farming game" and the building system, while it has some very stupid decisions on pacing, is absolutly a joy for customization junkies like myself, but almost every mechanic feels half baked or janky, and just because I like the idea of the game and enjoy it when it works I won't lie to myself or others by saying that the bugs are not as bad as people say or that the game is fine. People who like the game should be the first to warn others about its flaws, to avoid having them try the game on such a bad state not knowing what they are getting into and finding by surprise that major mechanics are lacking or that bugs are annoying as hell, that is how you end up with people angry and trying to talk ♥♥♥♥ about it... I would rather prefer a new player to know about the real state of the game and wait for it to be fixed and then fall in love with it.
I spended a good chunk of hours and I plan on play it a lot more after a few patches, even if its just because I want to build a cute flower farm. But I can't say to someone "buy this" and not feel guilty because I know the mess they are buying... much better to tell them to avoid it for now and wait until its fixed, or to double check if the game has the things they want.
Some people seem to be unable to understand that you can like something and be honest with its flaws, and that pointing the mistakes out is not hating or undermining the work of the devs...I mean they made a 6.5+/10 game on the first try, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.
Its also completly nonsens having a game time set in the present age and you have to cut grass with a machete/Nata Knife. I am not asking for JohnDeere Trectors, harvesters or heavy equipment but whats wrong with a little lawnmower?
Also this game has "life-simulation/dating-simulation" tags on the steampage...so marriage/romancing should be a bigger part in this game. I guess thats why i never got any answer on my question what advantages a relationship in this game has.
if i just wanted a pure farming sim i could still play Farming Simulator.
And the economy in this game...lets be fair...its broken. I mean once you can enter the Mines especially the deeper mines you gather alot gems and sell them for a high price...someone even said fishing gets you more money than spending your time with farming.
I maybe havent even played long enough to see its full potencial but from what i red so far i dont even feel like keep playing and yeah i didnt even finished the tea house yet but thats also because i had often facepalm myself about this weird idea using a drone for placing stuff....come on be serious...you carry around a camping cooker or a rice cooker and you have to place it with a drone instead of just unpack it in your inventory and place it?
And guess what? The world doesn't revolve around you. But sounds like you might find that out the hard way.
