Demo review

since I can't place a demo review on the page i'll do it here:
1) The hand-holding is out of this world- I don't like this. I know what a video game is, I know how crafting and gathering is. Please let my character not be dumb.
2) I wandered around town on my own and found the mechanic shop only to be dumbfounded I couldnt order a bike. I saw a white one in town and thought i'd be able to get one here only for on day 4/5 get a free one. Cool but again, hand-holding.
3) Cave-in Story took an entire day for me out of a 10 day demo.
4) I can't go up to an npc and ask them stuff: examples: "hey where can i get a bike? Hey cool chickens where did you get them? Cool shed, do you have the blueprint for it? i'll pay you 5$ for the share."
5) Also went to the fishing store and...couldn't buy anything. at all. I saw fish in the river by my "tea house". Why can't I just go places and do things without being led around?
6) days feel too fast.
7) please get rid of the energy bar all together. This isn't a mobile game, I don't need this or want it.
8) let me pin my own quests to remind myself to do things. example: "pick up wood from woodworker" --dropped off that little red robot and never heard back about him.
9) it took me 6 days to get an axe. six of the 10 days demo. Not fun. 6 days to learn to cook and there's not even a tutorial, just a wall of text. Also not fun or educational.
10) also went to the blacksmith before the "go see him" quest to buy an axe...wasn't able to. too much handholding.
11) went to get wood processed for the tea house....on a sunday...it was closed. Was I too early? Who knows, i don't see any hours posted anywhere, not even in the popup. (it was because of the sunday farmers market, but did it tell me that in the chat popup? no)
12) went to the seed store in person and didn't see any seeds there, only for days later get a text saying i can buy seeds online....and pay a delivery fee...why would i want to do that? Isn't this a small town experience? Can't i just buy local?
13) allow me to pin recipes for building materials in the top left so I can keep track of what i need when i go into town to process the ore and wood. instead of taking a pic of the screen with my phone...
14) need a flashlight or headlamp for late evening/in the curves in the caves so i can see.
15) If i'm supplying all the material to make planks and bolts and screws....why is it anything more than 5$ to make? Especially bulk orders...Why does making 20 clay tiles cost 85$ when i'm the one supplying all the material??

4 is asking a lot that they some how have to have options to ask all npcs everything every player might want to ask.

12 yes you can buy local. I bought some seeds at the local plant store before I got the reminder about being able to buy online.

You can get stuff from the blacksmith too.

You need to go buy at the counter and not the npc is my best guess at what you're doing wrong. It sounds like you failed to buy anything anywhere.

As for energy that's a standard part of farming sim genre. The only time I've seen it not there is if the actions you do use up time instead, so doing stuff make the day end faster.

If this is your first farming life sim it might not be the best one to start with. Maybe try Stardew valley. But it seems like genre might not be your type of game.

It looks like according to the dev's, Ladybug will not sell seeds as that is not their intent for them to do so. Only for them to buy the seeds from the player.

They were only initially available for sell in the demo at one point before ultimately being removed in an update later.

Just to answer a few extra questions that you had posted here that weren't answered here or on your post in the discord:

10) You are able to purchase an axe earlier than the quest if you'd like, just make sure you check the "services" tab in the correct shop.
11) You can see shop hours in the map app by clicking on the shop.
13) You can pin the recipes for blueprints on your screen using the "To do list" app. You can even see this list while in a shop menu (the red arrow on the right hand side of the screen in the shop menu)

Oh, okay. I didn't realize that was removed. Would be nice to buy them in either way but that's not a big deal.

nooo i was just going too early to everything. i was "sequence breaking". I just like to go off and do my thing freely, vs hand holding "go here! here's this!"
