Does romancing the asari consort in the citadel affect future relationships?
I don't think it does, but I would hate to get through half the game only to find out it does.

No, the trinket she gives you in the important thing, and you use it later in ME1.

Yes. It has nothing to do with sex though. She gives you a quest to talk to General Oraka, and then he give you a quest to talk to Xeltan. If you talk to Xeltan before you complete Sha'ira's quest, she'll give you a trinket.
