I tried to search some stuff and I read that you could try changing DPI setting to a lower value if you have Logitech mouse. Some person said they bought a mouse with an adjustable DPI because of this. Or set your mouse settings in Windows very high and turn down DPI to compensate. Or lowering your overall mouse sensitivity on your PC might affect in-game. Control panel > Mouse.
And here's a good old thread:

It seems it has helped some people.
Edit: Oh sh*t, I didn't look properly. That's for ME2... I'm not sure if that will work with ME1.
Additionally, I don't have the 'invert mouse' setting enabled, but my y-axis is inverted.
I'm running Windows8 Pro, and using a Logitech G9 mouse. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
