Ultra Wide (2560 x 1080)
Is it possible to play game on ultra-wide monitor (2560 x 1080)? I have problem with menus… I cannot see entire picture (bottom of the screen).

You are out of your mind. You can't expect them to patch in every new aspect ratio or resolution in old games.

yeah...
no...
We are talking about aspect ratio, not about selecting proper resolution.

Why not?
They should enable Xbox 360 gamepad support too (without 3rd party soft).

Btw the original question was about 3rd party solution, something like flawlesswidesreen (that does not work)...

Because no one will pay them for that.

The deliberately got rid of it and redone the UI to better suit a keyboard and a mouse.

The site claims it should work so I would suggest you read the instructions more careful.

Have you tried it?

Uhm 2560x1080 IS in the game, it just does not work. So its broken.. For ages. So saying its an old game only makes it worse, because how longer it takes to fix things the worse it is.

So you haven't tried, you don't want to buy ultra wide monitor, you haven’t said anything useful, but you came here to teach us how to live?

Well, old games are not worked on pretty much in any company. Besides everyone who was involved in the creation of Mass Effect most possibly left the company ages ago, and new people don't want to untangle that mess of a code.

Precisely.
do it manual in the edit config ... i did it and why 2560 x 1080 ... it is to much because i was playing me1 on 1920 x 1080 and im using a 47" tv ... and yea my system is good enouf to run it in 2560 x 1080 but 1920 x 1080 is 1080p and you dont need more ;-)

@Zerox
You know, that there is difference between wide and ultra wide tv/monitors?
Thiago Viol Aug 17, 2015 @ 8:37pm
Just opened a new topic about it... before finding this old one. Wish i could play in ultra wide too, if someone found a way for this yet.
