Stuck on Intro/Mass Effect Splash Screen with No Keys Working.

Hey, I haven't played this game for a very long time, and have updated to Win10 since I last launched it. The game launches fine, and I can skip past the Dev splash screens, but then on the intro where it asks you to 'press start', no keys do anything. The background continues to animate and the button prompt slowly fades in and out, so I know it hasn't crashed. Native controller support isn't advertised on the store page, but I plugged in my controller anyway, thinking that press start meant literally 'press start'. Still nothing (if there is a controller option, I assumed I may have checked it and it disabled KB+M, which would be really odd).

I'm running it as an admin, and have tried no compatibility, XP SP2 and Win7 compatibility with the same issues. I've also tried what other 'not launching' threads have suggested, making a shortcut to desktop and launching that to no avail. I have no mods installed.

Any help please fellas? It seems like such an oddly specific but easily fixable issue.

Try this:
Follow Your drive letter in this navigation and run the DXSETUP.exe in that folder , maybe win 10 has it running a newer version of Directx.

K:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Mass Effect\DirectX
